Wales Coast Walk: Abersoch to Porth Ceiriad

Gentle coastal walk with beach stops, possible swim, and pub stop in the afternoon. Those staying at Abersoch will attend in addition to any daytrippers who RSVP to this event.

Logistics:
Meet: 10:00 in Abersoch, having parked somewhere around the town, we will leave within 10 minutes.
Distance: Around 9 miles
Start Point: Olgra House, Stryd Fawr, A497/A499, Sarn Bach, Abersoch, LL53 7DT (about 3.5 hours from Birmingham)
Terrain: Peninsula, coast and slightly inland with sea views throughout, undulating in a few places, mainly to access beaches.
Refreshments: Picnic stop (bring own), and probable pub stop (later on)
Bring: Waterproofs & Refreshments & Good walking footwear, and clothing to match the weather.
Guests: Under 16s & dogs (under control) may attend as guests.

As with any outdoor activity, there is some inherent risk. Whilst we aim to avoid unnecessary risks, participants should take all reasonable precautions themselves. A suitable pace for the walk will be determined by the walk leader, which others must observe by keeping in visible distance, not forging ahead or lagging behind. Those attending are totally responsible for their own safety. You must be comfortable walking the specified distance in order to attend please.
RSVP Commitment:
Places are not unlimited, so withdrawing in the last 24 hours is not allowed. Attendances shouldn't be compromised by ghosting (no-shows, late withdrawals) so reliable attendees will take priority in future.
