Morning Hike @ Bhongir Fort

About this event:

Bhuvanagiri

Bhongir, Bhongiri or Bhuvanagiri is a town.It is 48 km from Hyderabad. Bhongir is famous for its fort, which became prominent during the rule of the Kakatiyas.

The Fort was built on an isolated monolithic rock by the Western Chalukya ruler Tri-bhuvana-malla Vikram-aditya VI and was named after him as Tribhuvanagiri. This name gradually became Bhuvanagiri and subsequently Bhongir. According to legend, there once was an underground corridor connecting Bhongir Fort to Golconda Fort. Please note that this Hike doesn't intend to find that corridor :)

No smoking, No booze ,Don't litter

06 : 00 AM SHARP Assemble at Uppal X Road near the police station
06 : 15 AM Start for Bhongir (If you are not able to reach in time, we will miss you )
07 : 00 AM Reach Bhongir and Start climbing Bhongir Fort
11 : 00 AMReach Down and start back to Hyderabad

Meeting Point

We will meet at Uppal X road at 06:00 am and proceed towards Bhongir via the Uppal road on the Warangal highway

In case of any problem, please call us a day before to get the direction ..not on the same day early morning ..

Transport

Car and bike pool based on the no.of people (we'll give preference to Car Owners because of current weather conditions). Destination is about 48Km. (Fuel cost will be shared among all people equally).

Things to Bring:

Backpack/.

Fruits/Chocolates/Munch bars/Snacks/Lunch/
Wear only sport/hike shoes and loose tracks
Wear long sleeves clothes to avoid injuries from bushes/shrubs/thorns

Water Bottles - 2 Liters
Band-aid/medications(if any)/Glucose - D
Cameras to click kodak moments!
Lots of energy and big smile.
