What we’re about
An acoustic guitar circle by the beach! Pull that old guitar out of the closet and dust it off! This group is for all levels of acoustic players (guitars, banjos, mandolins, ukuleles, harmonicas) and singers who are interested in sharing music in an open, non-judgmental setting outside where we can watch the sunset! We take turns leading/choosing songs. If you don't feel comfortable leading a song when it's your turn, you can ask someone else to lead the song of your choice or just pass. If possible, bring copies of chords and lyrics to share for songs you want to play.
What kind of music? Whatever the members bring! Folk, pop, rock, jazz, country - we just want to keep it playable with no more than four or five basic chords (i.e. C, F, G, D, A, E, Am, Em, Dm) per song. While this is not a setting for guitar lessons everyone should be willing to help, encourage, and celebrate each others efforts and willingness to join in, and most of all have fun!

The goal is to hold the circle at the "Old Snack Shack" by the beach in Madiera around sunset weekly. Let's enjoy the sunset have fun making music! (By popular request we moved off the sand and onto the deck of the Snack Shack.)
