Empower your young maker this summer at Sac Made Studio & Makerspace! The Kid Creators Camp Series is a multi-week, hands-on journey into the world of fabrication, design, and engineering.
Each week, kids will dive into real-world tools—from woodworking and 3D printing to electronics and beginner design software—fostering creativity, STEM learning, and critical problem-solving skills in a highly supportive environment.
Series Logistic
- Ages: 8–13
- Time: Thursdays & Fridays, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Week 3: Cardboard Engineers (Jul 23 - Jul 24)
Discover how to combine simple materials with high-tech prototyping tools.
- Thursday: Young engineers learn the basics of circuitry by building light-up cards using copper tape and LEDs.
- Friday: Industrial prototyping 101. Kids will use the laser cutter to precision-cut cardboard, turning flat sheets into incredible 3D structures.
- 📦 Take-Home Results: Decorated paper-circuit LED cards, a custom Book Lamp, and 3D cardboard prototypes.
