Certification: Grants access to the laser cutter with membership or maker day pass.
Learn how to safely and efficiently use the Aeon Laser Cutter in this beginner-friendly class. You’ll be introduced to laser cutting principles, material selection, design setup using Lightburn software, and troubleshooting tips to get your projects off the ground. At the end of the class you will quickly create a design to cut, to make your own personalized keychain to take home.
You’ll learn:

• Basic principles of laser cutting
• How to select materials suitable for laser cutting
• How to prepare and format vector designs in Lightburn
• How to set up and operate the Aeon laser cutter safely
• Troubleshooting common laser cutter issues

All tools and materials are provided.
Important Notes:

• Class must be booked by 9:00 AM the day before. Contact us to inquire about same-day availability.
• Wear shop-appropriate clothing: long pants, closed-toe shoes, and hair tied back.
• Arrive 10–15 minutes early and sign our release of liability.
• Please reschedule if you’re feeling unwell.
