Welcome to Halfway there Hikes! We are a Sacramento area based group that travels to various locations within 3 hours of Sacramento to enjoy Northern California trails. Trails range from 5 to 10 miles. All levels of experience are welcome to join.

Phantom Falls Hike
Parking lot for Phantom Falls, 2488 Cherokee Rd, Oroville, CA, USFor our January hike we will be visiting the Phantom falls Trail. The hike will be mostly flat with an overall elevation gain of approximately 500ft over 7miles. We will walk through open grazing land and through some small ravines ultimately being treated to views of various waterfalls depending on waterflows
The hike will be just over 7miles long. There are no bathrooms on the trail and it will be sun exposed. Overall it will be a relatively easy hike. It'll be a fun day.
CARPOOLING- Will take place at 11th and P Street in midtown. We will leave promptly at 8:15.41 attendees
