Welcome to Halfway there Hikes! We are a Sacramento area based group that travels to various locations within 3 hours of Sacramento to enjoy Northern California trails. Trails range from 5 to 10 miles. All levels of experience are welcome to join.

Beale Falls Trail
Spenceville Wildlife Area Field Trial Grounds, 14936 1Spenceville Rd, Penn Valley, CA 95946, 14936 Spenceville Road, Penn Valley, CA, USFor our May hike we will be hiking to Beale Falls. This hike is a little over 5 miles with the opportunity to see the falls about midway. It has a net elevation gain of about 500 feet so it would be considered a relatively flat hike. With the weather as it has been lately the landscape should still be green and the falls should still be flowing at a rapid pace. If you'd like to carpool please leave a comment to coordinate with others if you chose.
