What we’re about

We have been throwing dinner parties since July 2022. We eventually decided to create a meetup group for our parties as well as other events like Pride. We primarily cater to trans people and trans allies.

We usually meet at a large house set up to entertain. We have dinner and play games of all sorts. We have a wide range of people of all genders, military members, and aim to connect people with community.

More information about our dinner parties:

Feel free to bring a Switch controller, card game, board game, a dish, dessert, or drinks.

Kristen handles vetting people, we like to video chat with our guests before giving out our address! Absolutely no catfishing! Two of us live in the house together, so you might see us on video chat.

We offer rides or to arrange rides for 2-4 people each week, so make your request early. If you are a vetted member and wish to bring guests please send a DM to Kristen.

We are in an nice neighborhood with plenty of parking.

If you are neurodivergent like many of us here and become overwhelmed, there are spare bedrooms available to calm down in. If you disappear to a bedroom we will check in on you for safety. Please don’t leave without saying bye so we know you’re safe.

Common topics of discussion include pop culture, anime, gaming, neurodivergence, mental health, sexual health, military service, polyamory, and music considering we have a few musicians among us.

Our members include many people not on meetup, Military members, and all races. All ages are welcome, we have 18-50ish, our average age is about 24. We have asexual members as well. This is not a hook-up group. We are protective over our members and will remove anyone who agressively pursues our members. Many of us have been friends for years.

No drugs are allowed that are illegal in Virginia. No smoking inside. Always respect and feel free to ask about our pronouns.

We would like to thank our regulars who we call family, as some of us including Eve have little to no family outside of the trans community, or have no family who are local like Xena. It has been our immense pleasure serving our community, and opening our home every week and during Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years.

Volunteers are welcome for:
Driving people down from Williamsburg and the peninsula.
Cleaning the floors before the party
Cleaning/scrubbing upholstery before and after the party
Cleaning common areas before and after the party
Funding and setting up decorations for holiday parties
