Details
Teacher bio:
Jhannyn is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, lifelong student of yoga, and dedicated practitioner of meditation for over 5 years. She completed her training through The Yoga Tree Coop, a program rooted in social justice, inclusivity, and accessibility — values that continue to shape her teaching and presence in the community. Her classes offer a slow, intentional flow that centers breath, body awareness, and choice. Jhannyn creates welcoming spaces where all bodies and identities are honored, and where yoga becomes a tool for healing, reconnection, and inner strength. She invites students to move at their own pace, listen deeply, and approach practice as both a personal and collective journey toward wholeness.
Class description:
A slow, grounding yin practice for presence, connection, and release.
In this gentle all-levels class, we settle into simple, supported poses held for several minutes, allowing your body to open and your mind to quiet. With mindful breathwork and moments of stillness, you’ll create space for connection, clarity, and deep relaxation. Sacred Slow invites you to honor your body’s wisdom, soften into sensation, and treat your practice as a meditative pause. Perfect for beginners, those returning to their mat, or anyone seeking to slow down, tune in, and restore from the inside out.
