HIKE DETAILS:
This easy/moderate 2.5-mile hike starts at the back side of the Sulphur Springs parking lot at Paris Mountain State Park. This pretty loop trail winds through the woods and over creekbeds.

The pace will not be fast -- I prefer to take my time and enjoy the scenery and the company. :)

Don't forget to bring water!

MEETING POINT:
Let's meet at 4pm at the back side of the Sulphur Springs parking lot. Jodi will be wearing a red baseball cap.

NOTE: Entry to Paris Mountain is $6.00, unless you have a State Park Pass.

Hike Details:

• Trail: RAVEN ROCK LOOP TRAIL
• Length: 4.5 miles
• Elevation Gain: 900 ft
• Difficulty: Moderate
• Trail Type: Loop
• Pace: Easygoing and social — we’ll take time to enjoy the views and the company!
• Recommended: Plenty of water and a snack

The trail starts easy and crosses Poe Creek over a natural granite bridge. The next section is uphill, eventually reaching the top of a steep valley. From there, we'll climb out to the ridge and generally walk along it until we descend to Lake Keowee. This will be our snack spot, overlooking the lake. The way back involves some uphill and steep downhill, along with a nice river crossing. The last leg is uphill and ends at the old church and the parking lot.

Meetup and Parking Details:
Let's meet at the Trailhead parking lot at 9:30am SHARP. Jodi will be wearing a red baseball cap. If anyone wants to carpool, please add a comment below.

Parking is FREE.

HIKE DETAILS:
This moderate 4-mile hike starts at the upper Brissy Ridge parking lot at Paris Mountain State Park. We will hike the easier part of the Brissy Ridge Trail to the Pipsissewa Trail until we reach North Lake. At the Lake, we'll enjoy a snack together, then head back.

The pace will not be fast -- I prefer to take my time and enjoy the scenery and the company. :)

Bring water and a snack!

Join Us for a Scenic 5.3-Mile Hike to Raven Cliff Falls Bridge!

Whether you're a new member or a long-time member, this event is perfect for anyone looking to meet new friends or connect with old ones. :)

Enjoy a beautiful hike to the Raven Cliff Falls Suspension Bridge via the Gum Gap and Natureland Trails. This hike offers a mix of gravel roads, forested trails, river views, and a rewarding workout - especially on the climb back from the bridge. :) The scenery will be worth it!

Hike Details:
• Trail: Gum Gap Trail to Natureland Trail
• Distance: 5.3 miles (out and back)
• Elevation Gain: 800 ft
• Pace: Easygoing and social — we’ll take time to enjoy the views and the company!
• Recommended: Sturdy footwear, water, and a sense of adventure!

Carpool:
Meet at 8:30 AM at the Traveler’s Rest Walmart (near the garden center). Look for Jodi, who will be wearing a red baseball cap.

If you prefer to drive yourself, please arrive by 9:30 AM at the Silver Steps Parking Lot, located about ½ mile past the Raven Cliff Falls parking lot on the right.

Admission: $3 (unless you have a South Carolina State Park Pass)
