Join me on a delightful summer walk along Laguna Beach. We will start at the bluffs at the north end of Heisler Park and enjoy the spectacular view. There is even a sculpture garden! Eventually the bluffs come down to a boardwalk on the beach. From there, we will walk along the beach until we reach the natural arch, then we will head up to the street to stop for lunch at The Old Pottery Place/Sapphire Restaurant. After lunch, we will walk back along the beach and check out the tide pools. There are multiple sets of stairs to climb back up to the bluffs and return to our cars. This will be a shorter hike than we usually take, about 3-4 miles total.
Then we will head over to the Sawdust Art Festival just up Laguna Canyon Road a short distance away. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and active military get in free.
