More than a hike: Finding Peace
Details
We often think peace will come when life settles down…when the to-do list is finished, the problems are solved, or everything finally falls into place.
But what if peace isn’t something we find someday?
What if it’s something we can notice, even in the middle of an ordinary day?
As we hike, we’ll pause from time to time and notice the moments of peace that are already here. They may be brief, but sometimes that’s all we need.
The stillness of the woods. The welcome breeze that cools us off, if only for a moment. The birdsong that brings us back to the present moment. A deep breath. A group of like-minded people sharing the trail together.
There’s no expectation to share. Come as you are and let nature and our shared experience work their quiet magic.
We’ll meet at the picnic tables. I’ll be wearing a red bandana so you can easily find the group.
The hike is approximately 3 miles at an intermediate pace with a few stops along the way (about 2.5 hours). Please bring water and wear hiking boots.
See you there!
