Lake Pleasant paddle, picnic and party

Join us for a fun afternoon/evening/early night event at Lake Pleasant. Meet north of the Castle Creek Boat Ramp (the northernmost entrance of the lake - the dirt shoreline area just north of the ramp).

Details-
Meet at 3pm, launch by 3:30pm
distance 6.5ish miles with 2mphish pace
kayak up to Agua Fria River and then return to our meeting spot

Post kayak festivities-
Return to shore and load kayaks back on/in vehicles.
Set up chairs and hang out by water, watch the sunset, chow down, drink, listen to music, chat, etc.
We will hang out until the park closes at 9pm.

What to bring-
kayak, paddle, PFD, food, plenty of liquid hydration, adult beverage (if you want to imbibe), chair, sense of humor and good conversation topics

IMPORTANT INFORMATION-
This event is for people who have kayaked before and are able to self-rescue (if need be).
This event is weather dependent. We will keep an eye on the wind and update the event as necessary to ensure a safe and enjoyable time.
