What we’re about

You are invited to experience the intimacy, beauty and adventure of life with God--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!

My desire is to build a growing community of people of all ages, who love the Lord, study His word, and become a group with members who bear with each other and encourage one another.

If you have been a Christian for a long time, you are welcome!
If you do not call yourself a Christian, but wonder what it is all about, you are welcome!
If you attend church on a regular basis, come!
If you have fallen out of the habit of attending church, come!
If you have never set foot in a church, come!
If there is anything in you that says, there might be something to the Jesus I have heard about, and you are open to that possibility-no matter how little the opening, please join us!

Please come with either the belief that God is Lord and humans are not, or an openness to that possibility!

We will begin by asking the question is the Jesus? His mother was Mary and he was born in the small town of Bethlehem. Do the writers of the Old Testament point to Him?
We will be using John Stott's Jesus Christ; Teacher, Servant, and Savior to guide our discussions. You likely will not need to purchase it, I have extra copies.

Our discussions will be laid back and being real is welcomed. Members of the group may or may not have the answers, but we are willing to hear them and wrestle them with you.

We will meet for Bible Study all but one week of the month, that week we will meet for a meal together at a local restaurant.

Our first meeting (for those who signed up earlier, we are revamping) will be October 13th at 7:00. I think most months, our meals will be the last week of the month, but for October we will start our study with a meal. It will allow us to meet and discuss what the study will look like, and get a copy of the study.

Unless, people express a better date and time, we will gather every Thursday at 6:30 and begin our study about 7 (you may come late, just let me know you are coming so that if it is a small crowd we don't start or leave without you).

We will meet on Barracks Road in Hillsborough at All Saint's Anglican Church. The address is 204 Barracks Road, but you do not need a number, the road is short, and the church is recognizable. The church is beautiful, but it is only a chapel there are no other facilities, including plumbing.

If you are interested in joining, but the date or the time do not work, let me know. My email is BetseyJohnC@gmail.com. The date and time are just a starting point. I do not want that to be a hinderance to anyone who wishes to join. Please email me with any questions or other thoughts.
