Baylands Nature Preserve, Palo Alto
Duck pond, tidal marshes, wildflowers, birds, trees, views of San Francisco Bay and the Western Hills. The Preserve is one of the largest undisturbed marshlands remaining in San Francisco Bay and is one of the best bird watching areas on the west coast.
Parking
Two parking lots - by the duck pond on the left and ahead on the right.
Bathrooms
Porta-potties are located in the first parking lot adjacent to the duck pond. Another porta-potty is towards the south end of the 2nd parking lot, a short walk away on a sandy path.

Bring your painting, your sandwich and meet the Event Host (Betsy) in the 2nd parking lot adjacent to the salt marshes to share our work and enjoy some conversation.
Event Host
Betsy is our host for this week's event at Baylands. She is a seasoned member of POPs so you will be in good hands. She often wears a distinctive western style hat. Look for the hat!
