Humanist Program: Ranked Choice Voting

The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.

Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk.

This month we are joined by Debbie Schaffner from Rank the Vote Ohio, a nonpartisan non-profit grassroots organization working toward bringing Ranked Choice Voting to Ohio. RCV is designed to increase civility and lessen divisiveness in our political system. We are currently obtaining lists of supporters with the hopes of reaching 10,000 by July. At that time, we will hopefully have enough support in the state to proceed with a ballot initiative in 2024.
