Humanist Monthly Program: Community Building

Thousands of people in central Ohio already hold Humanist friendly worldviews but may not know that we have a group. How can we expand our community and ensure that it’s representative of the central Ohio population? Our group of panelists will share their thoughts and invite discussion about how to expand our community and maintain welcoming places for Humanists. Four panelists will be joining us to discuss our community building efforts.

Dr. Shauna Sowga of Columbus State Community College and Avery Winston of Ohio Wesleyan University Freethinkers will join us. Margarette Shegog, SSA Diversity Conference speaker, and Sam Jackson, Group Starting Specialist from the Secular Student Alliance, will share their experiences in community building.
