- HVTech - Halloween Meetup!
Join us for a Halloween meetup in Kingston! We have some great speakers lined up, none of whom are ghosts or goblins (that we know of). As always, refreshments will be provided by a local business. Costumes are encouraged! _______________________________________________________________ FIRST TALK: Diana DeJesus - Going beyond a traditional analytics tool to understand user behavior on your website. Diana started out her career in tech thanks to the HV tech meetup! She’s an Activation Support Lead at a SaaS startup, Hotjar, which is a user behavior and feedback tool that helps websites understand what users are doing on their site and why. Diana is passionate about obsessing over the users, retention and driving product value through human interactions. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her 5 year old twins and husband, cooking new recipes and learning Italian _________________ SECOND TALK: Alex Waters - The social impact of blockchain, and the combination of blockchain technology and useful AI Alex specializes in system design and software architecture. Having built many products and systems in the blockchain space, his industry experience is unmatched when assessing and designing complex technical structures. ______________ THIRD TALK: David Silva - Techqueria. David Silva is a web developer from Colombia, now living in NYC, he's a co-founder of Techqueria, the largest network for latinx in tech. Techqueria strives to provide Latinx professionals with the resources and support that they need to attain, thrive, and remain in a career within the technology industry.
