In this session, the speakers will explore Hyperledger Indy on Besu, an Ethereum-powered Public Permissioned Blockchain designed for Self-Sovereign Identity.
The Indy on Besu framework offers an alternative to the existing Hyperledger Indy ecosystem, with enhanced support for verifiable credentials and the latest SSI standards which can be compliant with eIDAS2/EUDI regulations. With its advanced security measures and features inherited from the Besu project, Hyperledger Indy on Besu has the potential to transform the Self-Sovereign Identity market and pave the way for a more secure and decentralized digital identity solution.
The meetup will also touch upon the history and features of Indy and Besu projects by specialists who are experienced in supporting the development of these frameworks. We will cover the architecture of Indy on Besu, detailing how it addresses challenges within Indy and its impact on node operations.
The session will also include a live demonstration, demonstrating practical applications of Indy on Besu for issuing and verifying SSI verifiable credentials of Anoncreds and SD-JWT formats.
