Details
Drive Far. Climb High. Race the Clock.
This is not a casual weekend getaway. This is a full-throttle, 24-hour Texas endurance mission—and only the bold need apply.
The Mission
- Leave Austin and drive 500+ miles through the night
- Arrive at Pine Springs Trailhead in Guadalupe Mountains National Park
- Begin a pre-dawn ascent of Guadalupe Peak (8,751 ft—the highest point in Texas)
- Reach the summit by sunrise, take it all in, and get right back down
- Drive home before the 24-hour mark hits
This is a test of grit, mental toughness, and physical endurance. No sleep. No room for doubt. Just you, the crew, and the road to the roof of Texas.
What to Expect
- Roughly 9 hours of driving each way
- A strenuous 8.4-mile night hike with 3,000 feet of elevation gain
- Little to no rest—this is a nonstop challenge
- Camaraderie with a small team of relentless hikers chasing something most wouldn’t dare attempt
Who is this for?
✅ Adventure seekers
✅ Road warriors
✅ Anyone who hears "that’s insane" and says, “Hell yes.”
What you'll need
- A headlamp with a red light, solid hiking shoes, trekking poles, layers for mountain temps, snacks, and grit
- A desire to test yourself against the clock—and win
This is the kind of experience that becomes legend. If you’re in, you’re all in. Let’s ride. Let’s summit. Let’s beat the clock.

I love Austin, but I need some f*****g friends!
