You know that idea you’ve had sitting in your Notes app for six months?

The app you swear someone should make.
The clothing brand you’ve thought about starting.
The event you wish existed.
The nonprofit, product, campus project, creative concept, weird business idea—or something you can’t quite stop thinking about.

Bring it to IDEA LAB.

IDEA LAB is a community for people who would rather make something than talk about making something.

At each Lab, we bring together a small group of people with completely different backgrounds and give ourselves one challenge:

Take an idea and make it real in 2 hours.

No startup experience required.

No business degree required.

You don’t need to know how to code.

And you definitely don’t need to have an idea to attend.

We need people who design, write, build, research, photograph, market, organize, create, question things, understand people—or simply have good instincts and want to contribute.

One night you might help create a clothing brand.

Another night it could be an app.

Then a nonprofit.

A beauty product.

A campus project.

An event.

A food concept.

A social experiment.

Or something completely ridiculous that somehow turns into a real business.

The idea changes. The mission doesn’t:

You won’t spend an hour walking around asking strangers what they do.

### Not a pitch competition.

Nobody needs a deck, funding, traction, or an impressive startup vocabulary.

### Not a lecture.

We’re not sitting around listening to someone talk about entrepreneurship for two hours.

### Not just for tech.

Apps are welcome. So are fashion, food, beauty, entertainment, nonprofits, media, events, social impact, consumer products, and completely strange ideas that don’t fit into a category.

IDEA LAB is a working room.

You show up.

We pick something.

And we build.
