What we’re about
Il-Won(O) Meditation Community is a group that orients to learn and practice timelss and placless meditation in our daily lives. The group follows the teachings of Sotaesan, the founding master of Won-Buddhism. Won-Buddhism is a type of modern Buddhism born in Korea.
Our group is going to hold a biweekly gathering at 11 A.M. Saturday at Saesam & Seoul Citizens' meditation hall located in 서울특별시 종로구 북촌로5길 29. It is across Jeongdok Public Library.
We are going to learn ways of being mindful and practicing meditation. Also, we will have conversations about our experiences of using our minds upon sensory conditions.
