🎁 Free Improv Workshop: POV: Characters That Practically Play Themselves with Haley Cohen

In this workshop, Haley will help you unlock strong character POVs that drive your scene work and choices. By building a clear POV early, you’ll tap into your character’s motivations, fears, physicality, and behaviors—making long scenes and monologues flow naturally (no more inventing it from the outside). We’ll start with simple POV exercises and improvised monologues and work our way up to more challenging scene work that will push you to fully commit. You’ll discover how humor and authenticity emerge effortlessly when you lead with POV.

Haley's Bio: Haley Cohen has been involved in the improv world for over 15 years and has been teaching long-form improv since 2018. She taught regularly in Asheville, NC with Asheville Improv Collective before moving to Denver in 2021. Currently, she teaches at Rise Comedy. When she’s not teaching, you can find her performing with her long-form improv troupe Mockumentary Now! which she formed in 2022. They have performed in improv festivals all over the country. Locally, you can catch them perform every 3rd Saturday of the month at 8pm at Rise Comedy in Denver, CO.
