Free Improv comedy drop in workshop: “Geek Out!” with Andrew Long

Workshop for this Wednesday, October 1st at 7pm, is back at Louisville Underground! Andrew Long from Chaos Bloom is returning to facilitate the workshop titled GEEKING OUT! HOW TO TURN YOUR PASSIONS INTO POWERFUL SCENES.

Details drive good scene work. And specifics flow freely when we're discussing a topic about which we care about deeply. In this workshop we'll explore multiple techniques to turn our obsessions, fandoms, etc. into improv rocket fuel. And then we'll apply those same tools to subjects with which we're not that familiar, even ones that we invent on the spot. So join in and let your geek flag fly, your improv scenes will thank you!

Short Bio: Andrew got into improv because of his realtor. 😜 He has studied and performed on teams at all three Denver theaters and currently teaches and co-hosts the weekly jam at Chaos Bloom.

Workshop is held at Louisville Underground (inside Tilt! in downtown Louisville under Verde) from 7-9 pm. No experience is necessary and beginners are always welcome. Oh, and we have pizza. Grab a beer at the bar, too.
