Villain Ouvre workshop series with Jay Treat: 3 part series – 6/24. 7/22 and 9/2
Your improv teacher lied. Take off the training wheels and join the dark side. Unlearn the "rules" that served you once but no longer. Explore the murky boundaries between bad improv and great improv. A good villain knows what must be done, and doesn't care what the sheep think. So cast off your shackles, subvert expectations, and laugh like all your enemies are about to be buried in lava.

“Villain œuvre” = the collection of villain characters you tend to play, your personal villain repertoire.

July 22nd workshop: Improv for Villains
One of the most common critiques from improv coaches is “don’t ask questions!” Why? Let’s explore the underlying reasons, when questions are okay and how to ask better questions.

Jay Treat has studied with Chaos Bloom, Second City, the Groundlings, UCB, and more. He performs with Not My Robot, the Uncommers, Portmantwo, JK, and more. He's writing an improv book.

This FREE workshop will be held at The Spark Theatre in Boulder from 7-9 pm. No experience necessary and beginners are always welcome. We'll have pizza, too.

Feel free to email Cynthia@improvboulder.com with any questions.
See you Wednesday!
