In good spirits + In good company

Welcome to In Good Spirits + In Good Company. This is a new experiment based on my 20+ years of hosting events and gatherings all in the pursuit of meeting wonderful people and building my network. So this is definitely a networking group first and foremost. Yet some people think networking is sales-y, awkward, contrived, transactional, or otherwise not fun. My hope is to create an un-networking group: we still create a community of intentional connections but it feels more like a Friday happy hour with friends and colleagues full of laughter, good times, and positivity. I will also lead brief icebreaker activities so it's easier to meet people and go beyond superficial chit-chat. At the end of the day, we all want to be heard & seen, belong, matter, affirmed and validated - let's build a Meetup where this is possible!

Oh, and I am a fan of all kinds of whiskey. So you can expect that to be a part of most events!
