Tuesday night at the Movies: Ran at the Kan-Kan

Come meet us at the Kan-Kan to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Akira Kurosawa's Ran, his retelling of Shakespeare's King Lear. The Kan-Kan is celebrating by screening a new 4K print of this movie. Ran is known for many things, but my favorite are the battle scenes. They will look great on the big screen. I am excited.
We will meet in the lobby 20 minutes before the 7:30 showtime. We will discuss Shakespeare, Kurosawa, movies or anything else that comes to mind. After the movie, we will meet again at the bar to share our thoughts about the movie.
