Movie at a Theater: Highest 2 Lowest at KanKan

Highest 2 Lowest is a new movie based upon one of Akira Kurosawa's best films, High Low . It is directed by one of the most exciting people working in film today, Spike Lee, and it stars Denzel Washington, one of the best actors we have Mr. Washington plays a music mogul who has overextended himself and now must decide what to do when he is asked to pay a kidnapper's ransom.
We are meeting 25 minutes before the 6:35 showtime to discuss Kurosawa, Lee, Washington and movies in general. After the movie, we will gather for a quick chat before meeting again at a nearby restaurant for further discussion. We look forward to sharing this movie and discussion with you.
