Welcome to the Inner Light Meditation Centre Townsville Meetup Group! We gather to explore and connect to the inner light within through various practices such as meditation, breathwork, qigong, sound healing, and kundalini practices.
Our meetups are centered around understanding ourselves through a non-dualistic lense that we are all One. We also delve into topics like the nature of reality, via our fortnightly Tea with Mo sessions, and Conscious Conversations.
Many of our sessions are offered via Energy Philanthropy - where there are no conditions placed on 'this service = this $': pay what you feel is right for you. Alli and Maurice (the directors) generously gift their time, money, and skills to allow this centre to be a place where community can come together for the purpose of healing and awakening, and your offerings support is to lessen the out-of-pocket expenses.

Sound In Motion Druming. (S.I.M.D.)We are working together as one entity to bring sound healing to #Townsville.
We aim to develop a larger community of people who love and understand drums.
We invite all walks of life to join. If you have a drum, and would like to bring it out to meet other drums, SIMD would love to meet them!
SIMD is 2 hour, fortnightly class, introducing the language of percussion in a light-hearted and fun manner, whilst we explore creative flow and mindfulness together.

Flow Yoga - With Juanita
Inner Light Meditation Centre, 197-203 Flinders St, Townsville City, QL, AUStep onto your mat and give yourself the gift of slowing down. In this gentle, trauma-informed flow, you’ll be guided through mindful movements and smooth, unhurried transitions that support your body and calm your mind.
We’ll focus on connecting with your breath, building strength and flexibility in a way that feels safe and supportive, and cultivating a sense of inner steadiness. Options will be offered throughout so you can honour your body’s needs, whether you’re brand-new to yoga or have been practicing for years.
Come as you are, move at your own pace, and leave feeling grounded, nourished, and renewed.
