Parent Meetup: Traveling Families Club

Are you a parent living in the Leuven area wanting to connect with other parents? This event is made for you!

Planning travel with kids can be overwhelming, and often isolating. So Gabi and Javi want to invite you to the IHL to exchange real-life experiences and ideas helps lighten the load.

Many families want to travel more, but don’t know where to begin. Hearing from other parents can be the spark they need. When families travel together (or even just plan alongside others), it becomes a richer, more social experience for both parents and kids. Kids make friends. Parents make friends. Everyone feels more confident, connected, and inspired.

What to expect:

• Chat about recent trips and upcoming plans
• Ask questions and offer advice in an informal setting
• Share tips, photos, and funny stories
• Get ideas for future destinations and practical planning
• Travel gear tips, suggestions, testing/swapping
• Connect with other travel-loving parents over a coffee, tea, or snack

These meetups are meant to be low-pressure, drop-in friendly, and grounded in community, not structure.

We will have free coffee, water, and tea as well as the honesty bar (where everything is 2€).

About the volunteers:
We’re the couple behind Little Chicken Studio, a playful family travel channel built around traveling with our three young children. We create easy-to-follow, kid-friendly travel itineraries and share tips with a global audience. Now, we’d love to bring that energy and connection to our local community here in Leuven.
