Benvenuti a tutti!
This is a relaxed and friendly group always open to new members who can speak in Italian (we are not a beginners group). At the moment we always meet at least twice a month. We meet once a month for an aperitivo and usually hold another event during the month which can include picnics, cinema nights, walks, wine tasting, quizzes, reading nights, big national football matches or visits to the theatre.
The meetups are fun, very sociable and everyone is welcome as long as they speak an intermediate level of Italian. However this is not a meet up where you can learn italian, that is not the aim of the group. The standard is advanced but if you speak a reasonable level of Italian you are welcome to come along and see if they enjoy it. People are expected to speak in Italian most of the time.
This means that if you speak no Italian sadly we are not the group for you. The aim of the group is to speak Italian and if people that only speak English attend it undermines the primary goal of the group.
You'll be amazed at how much progress you make in conversation after just a few events. People are there mostly because they want to improve, brush-up on their Italian or they are Italian. With about 30-50 people coming to the monthly events, it is easy to wander around and find people of your level with whom you feel really comfortable speaking Italian.
Simply join and if you are interested enough to come along, just click the appropriate button. An automatic mail message will be sent to you whenever a new event becomes available or if ever there is a change in the event.
Regular members have to pay £10 (£5 if you are unemployed) and this is not optional if you wish to attend meetings. Paid members have first option on any events where attendance is limited.
Payment can be made in cash to myself at our events.

Regents Park, SEE MAP., Near Parkway Entrance, London, GBA reminder we are not a beginners group and if you have been before and have not paid in 2026 you need to pay a £10 cash membership on the day as this is how we fund the group.
Portate da mangiare, da bere e qualche gioco da picnic.
Unica regola: i drink devono essere Italiani. Vino, birra, succhi di frutta, acqua.....qualunque cosa da bere, purche' sia italiana!
Naturalmente, considerando il tempo metereologico inglese, c'e' sempre la possibilita' che sia debba spostare il picinic a venerdi', ma speriamo di no! ;-)
Si prega di controllare il sabato mattina...Summer Italian Picnic meet -up near Gloucester Gate Parkway entrance. The closest tube station is Camden Town.
Time to polish up your Italian vocabulary (including the Italians) and join us for one of our wonderful picnics.
A reminder we are not a beginners meet-up, people come to speak in Italian not English, and are a members group https://www.meetup.com/italian-35/discussions/6755397671428696/chat/. After two meet-ups people need to pay or may find themselves removed from the group.
The Picnic
Bring food, drink and games to our summer picnic meet-up and speak in Italian.
The only rule- all drink must be Italian!
Wine, beer, water ... whatever, as long as it's Italian. :-)
If you want to eat bring food, if you want to drink bring something to drink but please bring something, it is a picnic.
Go to the Parkway (Gloucester Gate) entrance, turn left, walk around the wildlife area with the pond. We will be on the other side.
