It’s a Date takes over a private space at The Star of Liverpool Street for an active and entertaining evening of networking — Social Drinks in The City.

We’re kicking off (almost) the weekend with an outgoing group of 40 single guests for after-work drinks and a fun mingling card game designed to keep conversations and new connections flowing.

Your host will be ready to welcome you from 19:30. They’ll be wearing a big smile and a discreet name badge, so they’ll be easy to spot. You’ll be offered an optional name sticker (super helpful for introductions), given a ‘get to know you’ card (to spark some mingling magic), and once you’re ready, introduced to a bunch of other single guests.

The aim of the game is simple: meet and mingle with as many people as possible, all while enjoying a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Your host will be on hand throughout to provide social glue, make special introductions, and ensure everyone’s having a great time.

After the evening wraps up, you can head to your dashboard to leave feedback on the people you met. A match is made when two guests give identical feedback, showing mutual interest and unlocking messaging on our platform.
