π“‚ƒβœοΈ What are your writing resolutions for 2026? What do you want to achieve with the help of this community? Join and share! π“‚ƒβœοΈ

Hello, Jakarta Creative! Are you a member of Jakarta Friends yet?
Want to see pictures of past events? Take a look here! And feel free to upload a few pictures you might take at the event 😊

JakCre and JakFri is the biggest, oldest, most active, and most inclusive MeetUp community in Jakarta… and we invite you to join us for this WRITERS' ROUNDTABLE! π“‚ƒβœοΈ

Everyone is always welcome to join our events. Our community is all about creating authentic in-person connections in this urban jungle. Come as you are... it’s the best version of yourself.

ABOUT THE EVENT

"The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now." Chinese proverb.

If you are new to this community...
If you are just thinking about picking up pen and paper...
If you are a seasoned writer...
Or if wish to start again with your once-blooming writing routine...

This event is exactly for you! Let's connect and informally share our plans, propositions, ambitions, and needs to achieve our best possible writing results in 2026!

Come with specific goals to share, specific questions to ask, or just to get inspired by fellow writers. We do not judge each other and measure others' success against ours, but seek inspiration and ways to help and elevate each other.

Feel free to share your past successes and failures, and use them to inform (us) on how the year ahead should look like for your writing.

Specifically, I invite you to share your feedback on what a Meetup community like this can do to help you as a writer. This will help create even more, even better events for 2026 which I plan to do with the new group "How to Become a Writer" There will still be writing events on Jakarta Creatives, of course.

We have organised plenty of events for writers before! You can see a few past events here:
