HONE: The Art of Deep Self-Care
HONE is a Riyadh-based community of practice dedicated to the sharpening of the most important asset we have, ourselves. That’s our mind, our emotions, our traits, and our skills (social and otherwise). This is all because the human potential is really fascinating and magnificent, and we should actualize this potential in the best way possible.
Therefore, we created Hone!
In order to make this mission a reality, we provide an inclusive, sincere, and supportive environment where we engage in reflective journaling to process and derive insights from the recent experiences we have undergone; because frankly, awareness is the first step to true, lasting change.
I’m writing these words from my heart when I say, I would love to see you with us; we will all enjoy our time together and learn a lot about ourselves.
It’s worth noting that we meet in cafes, and that we will not only organize events for reflective journaling, but also for public speaking, socialization, meditation, and general discussions about character development. Our goal is one: Let’s get to the next level of ourselves😊😼🔥 And we are committed to make it happen.
Lastly, HONE is a community of peers who share the same mission, and who are willing to explore themselves and grow their inner realm further. Know that we do prioritize safety, respect, and engagement in all our events, and we will make sure that you leave happier and more fulfilled than when you came, so join us and hone in! 01 | Dive In | Journaling Session

Life goes by really fast, and many events take place, most of which we have not allocated time to process. This is problematic because every event and experience carries with it emotions and insights, and a great way to process the former and unpack the latter is through reflective journaling, the process of writing down our unfiltered thoughts and emotions. In addition, many studies have discussed the benefits of reflective journaling, which include- Sharper Self-Awareness

- Strengthened Decision-Making

✔ Agenda- We gather at a cozy cafe in Northern Riyadh, grab a drink and get to know one another (10:00 - 10:15)
- Then, I'll start explaining what journaling is, how to do it and how to reap its benefits, and answer your questions (10:15 - 10:30)
- Now, we begin the session. Bring a notebook or a laptop to use in your writing. The journaling steps for this session are:
- Gratitude (10:30 - 10:40)
- What Worries You? (10:40 - 11:00)
- Why It Worries You? (11:00 - 11:20)
- What Can We Do About It? (11:20 - 11:40)
- Authentic Self-Compassion (11:40 - 11:50) - As we dive so deep, feel free to ask the host (1-1) questions when stuck; he's here to help you every step along the way.
- After completing the session, we will briefly share our feelings and thoughts, and we will conclude the session. (11:50 - 12:00)
