I am presenting my health journey through an integral lens. I will highlight how my health journey is a metaphor using integral about life and all its challenges, not just health. Using Wilber’s quadrant map we will look at my personal journey, upper left, how lower left (culture) influences our views about our health, what upper right shows us about what we can measure, and finally lower right, or the applications of a truly integral model to our entire health delivery system.

Come to be present, discuss how you can own any of this journey for yourself, not just your health. And bring a spirit of lightness and exploration. This is not going to be a dry lecture, or a heady Wilber evening, But do come. The more of your energy is present the better time we will all have. And that is one of my integral themes to positive health.

Paul W Pinegar, PhD is a licensed psychologist, ACEC and BCC board certified senior executive coach and original member of Ken Wilber’s President’s Circle. In this latter capacity he had opportunities to meet and interact with many of the original mover and shakers of the integral movement as it took off.

DIRECTIONS: From Rancho Santa Fe Road, turn onto El Camino Del Norte. Go 6/10 of a mile, then turn Left onto Val Sereno. When Val Sereno dead ends at Via de Caballo, turn Right. At the dead end cul de sac, turn Right at a large wooden sign with house numbers and follow the narrow extension down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, turn Left. Our half of the townhouse is at the end, 3197, double green doors.

Parking is limited. One car can park in front of our end of the duplex. One car can park to the right of my duplex neighbor. Three cars can park in the guest slots before the townhouse. The rest of you will have to park at the top of the hill before the wooden sign and then walk down the hill. I suggest that you bring a flash light to return up the hill to your car. Sorry for this inconvenience.
