Our origami specialist staff will carefully teach you how to make simple origami.
During the same time, we will have a simple language exchange in Japanese and English!
If you are interested in the Japanese culture of origami, we can teach you professional origami.

The participation fee is 500 yen(JPY) and requires one order at the cafe.

We will be holding a Takoyaki Party & Language Exchange Event for Japanese people and foreigners at at a cafe in Kuramaguchi

鞍馬口のカフェにて、日本人と外国人の交流の為の「たこ焼きパーティー＆多言語交流会」を開催します。

Have you ever heard of something called a “Takoyaki Party”?
It’s a social gathering where people make and eat Osaka’s famous dish, takoyaki, while enjoying conversation and spending time together.
By pouring the batter, adding the ingredients, and cooking them into round balls together, conversation naturally flows, making it easier for even first-time participants to interact and feel comfortable with one another. It's a cultural tradition that originated in Osaka.
It’s commonly called a “Tako-pa” for short.
You have to flip them to make them round, so sometimes you mess up but everyone just laughs and has fun talking.

貴方は「たこ焼きパーティ」と呼ばれるものを、知っていますか？
皆で大阪名物の食べ物の「たこ焼き」を作って、食べながら交流を楽しむイベントです。
生地を流し、具材を入れて丸く焼く作業を一緒に行うことで自然と会話が生まれ、初対面同士でも打ち解けやすい交流を目的とした大阪発祥の文化です。
通称「たこパ」って呼ばれています。
焼く時に、回転させながら丸く焼く必要が有るので、時には失敗して、みんなで笑いながら会話を楽しみます。

一緒に「たこ焼き」を作って食べながら、色々な国の友達や日本人の友達を作りたい人、国際交流を楽しみたい、言語や文化を通して繋がりたい、そんな方にぴったりのイベントです。

The participation fee is 1,000 yen(JPY), including one drink, and you can eat as much takoyaki as you want.
*You don’t need to order anything at the cafe.
*You can also bring your own food and drinks.
*The event is scheduled to start at 5 pm and last 2–3 hours, but you’re welcome to join midway.
*For those who can’t eat octopus, sausages are available instead.

参加費は1000円、ドリンク1杯込みで、しかも、たこ焼きは食べ放題です。
※カフェで1つ何か注文する必要はありません。
※貴方のフードやドリンクの持込みもOKです。
※17時から2時間～3時間を予定してますが、途中からの参加も大歓迎です。
※蛸が食べれない方は、蛸の代わりにウィンナーの用意もしています。
