Welcome to the La Jolla Active Walkers! This is your opportunity to meet fun, hospitable, energetic friends and exercise buddies who (already lead) or want to lead healthier, active lives while we explore scenic trails or paths in La Jolla, mostly by the glorious ocean. Join us while we nourish our bodies, minds, and spirits while we walk and gawk in the great outdoors! Please note that we generally walk at a brisk pace with some stops along the way to enjoy the view.
Why regularly take brisk walks? It strengthens the immune system, improves cardiovascular fitness, boosts moods, elevates energy levels, reduces stress, supports healthy body weight, sharpens cognition and memory, reduces sugar cravings, and so much more. You may even live longer.
