- Mosey Down Main Street230 N 4th St, Lafayette, IN
If you've never been to a Mosey, it's a small event downtown Lafayette that happens monthly during the summer. They close down a section of Main Street (2nd to 11th), and folks get to Mosey Down it (hence the name!!). It's not super exciting, but it's a chance to get out and take a walk and see what's new downtown! They have food trucks, music, and vendors too!
This event is free to attend, but you're responsible for anything extra you want to purchase!
- OUTfest!500 Main St, Lafayette, IN
We're signed up to be a vendor again this year! If you're new to the area, OUTfest is our local pride festival. We'll have a booth for voter registration, but it's also an opportunity to get out there and let folks know there is an inclusive group in the Lafayette area that is secular!
RSVPing doesn't necessarily mean you have to be talking to people about voting! You can come and go from the booth as you please! I'll have water, and we'll have shade from the tent! Plus I'll have free stickers that you can take! 😁
- Lafayette Comic-ConTippecanoe County Fairgrounds, Lafayette, IN
I'm not a comic book fan, but I know we've got some folks in the group that would probably love to attend this! I've got my kids that weekend (12 & 13 by the time Oct hits!), so I'll be bringing them along with me! I've never been to this event, so I'm not sure what to expect! It looks like there are quite a few vendors that will be there.
Tickets for people above 12 years old are $8. You can pre-order them here... just make sure you scroll down to the Lafayette ticket!!
If you go early and are still around by 12:30, send me a text and we can meet up! The Potters Market is happening 10-3 that same day, and I wanted to check that out too (the date for 2024 hasn't been updated on their website yet!)!
