This is a group for anyone interested in Functional Programming and related technologies. All levels of ability and experience are welcome.
This group is inspired by the current wave of excitement and rediscovery of functional programming languages. Expect to learn and talk about Elixir, Erlang, Elm, Clojure, Haskell, F#, PureScript and the kind...
We plan to alternate between: - talk/workshops given by either a member of the group or an outside speaker. - the practical programming challenge where you are encouraged to solve the problem in any language, ideally in collaboration with other attendees. - pure hack-days with interesting IoT projects like Elixir Nerves and hardware components.
Expect the usual, networking/socialising/drinks/snacks and discussion of the solutions on the big screen.
