Let's speak Spanish in Hampstead Heath - This event is for Spanish speakers (level: beginner to native speaker)

Hampstead Heath is one of the largest and most popular green spaces in the Greater London area. It is only 4 miles from central London but it feels like 4,000 miles from the bustle of the city. The Heath covers roughly 790 acres (about 360 hectares) and runs along a sandy ridge between Highgate to the east and Hampstead to the south-west.
The heath includes popular recreational facilities, including three open-air swimming pools.

We will meet at a tube station and we will walk to the heath.
We will stop at Kenwood House for a drink and then walk back to the tube station.

I don’t encourage any late comers because the heath is huge and wild.

If you are late, just head to Kenwood House to meet us. However, I cannot guarantee the time we will arrive at Kenwood House as we can walk more if the weather is good.

I will leave our location on google live map in our Spanish WhatsApp group. I will message the link of the Spanish WhatsApp group a day before the event.

For the event, wear warm and waterproof clothes and comfortable walking waterproof shoes. Note that the heath can be muddy at this time of the year.

You are responsible for your own safety and for your belongings.

If you feel unwell, please cancel your attendance and stay at home.

Please note that the number of attendees here does not reflect the actual number of people as the event is posted on several platforms.

We are asking for a small contribution to cover the group running cost and the hosts/organisers expenses.
Please ignore the Paid/Unpaid status if you are on the list of the attendees. Everyone on the list of attendees is expected to join the walk independently of their payment status.
The members who could not attend the previous event and contacted me before the start of the event are automatically added to the next event. If it is not the case for you, please contact me.

On the day of the event, if the weather forecast announces heavy or continuous rain, we will go in a pub near the tube station instead. So please check the event status before coming.

Let's speak German in Hyde Park!

This event is for all German beginner to native speakers.

We will meet outside at the Hyde Park Corner entrance to the park, in front of the big arch gate next to the Hyde Park Corner Underground station exit. Note this is NOT the Queen Elizabeth lion/unicorn gate.

We will walk around Hyde Park and chat in German. We will stop at a cafe along the way for a drink/snack. Then, we will walk back to the tube station.

On the day, I will add our live location on our WhatsApp group. Please message me to be added to the Whatsapp group. Once we are on the walk, I don't usually check MeetUp so Whatsapp is the best way to reach me.

Dress according to the weather - some paths might be muddy.

On the day, if the weather forecast announces torrential rain, I will postpone the event, so please check the event status before coming. We'll still go ahead with light rain/drizzle though - just make sure you bring a raincoat!

The park includes popular recreational facilities, including three open-air swimming pools.
We will meet at Hampstead tube station (Northern line) and we will walk to the heath together.
We will stop at Kenwood House to have a drink or a snack at Brew Café.
Then, we will walk back to the tube station.
Please note that we walk approximately 40 minutes to arrive at Kenwood House and it takes the same time to go back to Hampstead Station.
I don’t encourage late comer because the heath is huge. If you are late, just head to Kenwood House to meet us. However, bear in mind that if the weather is nice, we can go to Parliament Hill before heading to Kenwood house.

Dress according to the weather: Bring a warm jumper and a waterproof jacket during winter time. I also recommend to wear good walking shoes, warm and waterproof, the heath can be really muddy.
Also, on the day of the event, if the weather forecast announces torrential rain, we will go to a pub close to the tube station instead. So please check the weather forecast and the event status before coming.
