Make Work Fun (and Effective) With Gamification

Details

What’s This About
Gamification isn’t just about designing👾videogames (or 🎲TTG/CCG-s if you are more old school) - it’s a game-changing approach to make work more engaging, motivating, and dare we say… fun✨.

Whether you’re trying to motivate yourself or energize your team, the same mechanics that keep players coming back can help you hit your next career milestone or team goal with a power-up or two.

Join this session to explore how you can level up motivation and performance using ideas drawn from game design

When: 7:00-9:00PM Thu 26th Jun 2025

Where: Meeting Hall at #04-01, Midland House, 112, Middle Road, Singapore, 188970 (The nearest stations are Bugis MRT, Bras Basah MRT and Bencoolen MRT)

What We’ll Be Doing
This session is a beginner-friendly intro to gamification principles. We will be focusing on how to apply gamification to real-world professional settings by going through practical examples and interactive group discussions:

Here’s a taster of what to expect:

  • Key gamification concepts and why they’re effective
  • Frameworks and tools like rewards loops, and quests (yes, quests!)
  • Gamifying your own personal goals and building better routines
  • Gamifying team goals and workplace habits to motivate drive performance
  • Group discussion and sharing of ideas, stories, and examples
