Board Game & BRUNCH Meetup - Silver Goblin & Universel

Greetings Board Gamers!

You are invited to a 2-hour Board Game Meetup at the Silver Goblin (Gobelin d'Argent) downtown near Place des Arts followed by BRUNCH at Universel.

This is a new twist on a classic event! Instead of playing games for 3 hours, we will play games for about 2 hours. Then, anyone who is interested can come along to Universel Déjeuners et Grillades at 359 Saint-Catherine St West (across the street) for some brunch.

You can come for the games only, if you are not into brunch. If you do want brunch, it will be at your own cost.

Please note that the start time of the event is a bit earlier than the regular events.

The vibe is chill, inclusive and non-competitive. We play mainly to meet people and have fun. Games are usually in English but not exclusively.

Start Time: 12:15pm

End Time: 3:30pm

I will bring a couple of easy-to-learn board games and you are invited to bring along a board game, too. Games that are not overly long or complicated work best! You are not obligated to bring a game, but if you do, be prepared to explain the rules.

When you arrive, look for our small mascot, the LEGO UNICORN. He is usually prominently on display atop a stack of board games - unless he is still asleep in his stable at home, meaning I forgot him.

Silver Goblin has board games for sale and a few that can be borrowed to play on site. They sell bottled drinks but do not have food.

Please be respectful with your RSVPs and change your status to Not Going if you are unable to attend the event. If you are on the Waitlist, please check your notifications to see if you have been moved to the Going List, as it is common for RSVPs to change frequently.

If you are attending the event but running late, please send a message in the Event's comment sections, if possible.
