Welcome to LIVE (Living In Vibrant Excellence)!

We're a social group for people looking to make friends, meet new people, and be part of a welcoming community. We host a variety of events throughout South Jersey, Philadelphia, and beyond—from happy hours, hiking, beach trips, festivals, and special adventures.

There's always something to do, whether it's enjoying the shore in the summer or exploring the city during the colder months. If you're new to the area or simply looking to expand your social circle, we'd love to have you join us.

Everyone is welcome here! We just ask that members be friendly, respectful, and help create a positive environment for others.

A Note about Videos & Privacy:
I occasionally record videos of our events on my phone for our YouTube channel. My goal is to make these videos something we all enjoy. Your privacy and comfort come first.

If you would prefer not to appear in a video, or if there are certain things you aren't comfortable having shared, PLEASE LET ME KNOW by messaging me ahead of time or talking to me during the event.

If you see me recording, DO NOT WORRY—you can always ask me not to include you. I can delete a clip, leave it out of the final video, or avoid recording you altogether. Just LET ME KNOW what you're comfortable with.

This was my favorite event from last year and I can't wait to go to it again!

Get ready for a spooktacular evening as we explore the haunted halls of Eastern State Penitentiary. Join us as we venture through 5 Haunted Houses, go to the Beer Garden, boogie on the dance floor, and watch performances at the Bloodline Lounge.

Get ready for a scary experience. Don't worry, the actors can't touch you, unless you wear the glow necklace. Then get ready for something truly thrilling 👻

Buy your tickets online here (https://easternstate.org/halloween) for Oct. 17th at 6:30. You can get VIP if want to explore Al Capone's Cell and Express entry, but I'm going to get the standard. You could also get your tickets at the door, but I wouldn't recommend it. They'll be more expensive if there are any, and they'll more than likely be sold out. We can't do anything if that happens.

We'll park at the Philadelphia Zoo Garage (the one closest to the Zoo entrance). Shuttles will take us to the penitentiary from there.

You can meet us at the garage or the penitentiary gates depending on your method of transportation. I setup a group chat for this event. Please DM me if you are lost and can't find us.

Hey everyone! I want to take advantage of the amenities of my new apartment complex and host our Friendsgiving at this great outdoor food and table area. It has grills, fire pits, and a small putting green.

Of course, hosting an outdoor event in November is a little risky, so I have a backup plan in case of rain or cold weather.

I'll be bringing flatware along with a dish that I'll post in the comments. Please bring a dish of your own and post it below.

If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll move Friendsgiving somewhere else. I'll keep everyone updated in the comments as we get closer to the event.

Backup Locations:
I'm willing to go somewhere else if needed, and I have a couple places in mind. 'll make a decision once we have a better idea of what the weather will be like. I'm also open to suggestions!

My Apartment: I'd love to show everyone my new place, and it should be fully finished and cleaned by the time we have Friendsgiving! But space will be tight—I can probably fit at most around 10 people.

Tonewood Brewing: We did this last year and had a great time. They sometimes host special events, and it was fun having Friendsgiving there while they were selling vinyl records. I'll keep an eye on their upcoming events, but we don't necessarily have to go during one.
