This is a group for book lovers to come along and enjoy a meal and conversation about a book (and a drink too, if you want!). We meet twice monthly, once on a weekday and once on a Sunday, at different restaurants in central London.

For the first meeting in June, we will read Jess Walter's Beautiful Ruins. His sixth effort was a New York Times #1 Bestseller and is "[g]loriously inventive, funny, tender and constantly surprising.' It is set in Italy in the 1960s and a modern Hollywood studio.

The first meeting in July will see us discussing Taylor Jenkins Reid's 2021 novel, Malibu Rising. Her seventh effort is an historical fiction revolving around a set of siblings and a party. - July Meeting 2 - Northanger Abbey (Jane Austen)Caravan City Restaurant, London£3.00
In the second July meeting, we will read Jane Austen's first completed novel, Northanger Abbey. Only published posthumously alongside Persuasion in 1818, this satire of Gothic novels was written in 1803.
