'Beautiful Barnes' Guided Walk

Details
Come along on Sunday 8th June for a Blue Badge Guided Walk around Barnes in south west London.
Blue Badge Guides know London better than anyone. They have trained intensively for two years and passed the highest Tourist Guiding qualification in the UK.
About the walk
Fancy a day out of London without leaving the capital? Then Barnes is the place for you!
From the moment you step off the train you’ll be charmed by this lesser known London district with stunning riverside walkways. There’s no embankment to separate you from the river so you can walk along the river path watching rowers from famous London rowing clubs being put through their paces along the route of the famous Oxford v Cambridge boat race.
Along the terrace we’ll see homes of a famous composer and the founder of the Royal Ballet. Discover a hidden lake and a brook that meanders through a common, see Barnes’ oldest house dating to Tudor times where Elizabeth I’s Sypmaster General visited his deputy and visit the building where Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” was recorded.
The walk is a private walk for the group, we will be guided by Blue Badge guides Diane Burstein and Rachel Kolsky.
will be starting at 2:15pm and Diane at 2:30pm, so on the day, just come along at your chosen time.
Payment for the walk
