Day trip by coach - Leonardslee Gardens & Two Windmills! (NOW FULL)

Come along on Saturday 14th June for a coach trip to Leonardslee Gardens and Two Windmills called Jack and Jill in West Sussex!

Leonardslee Gardens
Leonardslee Gardens, which were first planted in 1801 is a magnificent Grade I listed garden which covers 240 acres and has been the subject of the largest garden restoration in England and possibly Europe.

In the gardens, highlights include the National Collection of Rhododendron Loderi, over 70 Champion Trees, the Rock Garden, the Sculpture Park & Art Gallery and the Beyond the Doll’s House exhibition, where intricate details bring a miniature Edwardian estate to life.

It has 7 lakes encountering a diverse array of wildlife, including a rare wallaby colony, over 100 free-roaming deer, carp and many birds such as kingfishers, wild mandarin ducks, nuthatches and treecreepers.

It also has a nice cafe in the Grade II listed mansion.

Jack & Jill Windmill's Tour
The Jack & Jill Windmills stand tall on the South Downs. There have been windmills here since 1765 and Jill windmill, built in 1821, has been restored and is still working today. We will be having a tour of Jill Windmill by local volunteers.

Entry to the gardens is £13 per person. The tour of the Windmill's is £5 per person (payable on the day by cash, PayPal or Bank Transfer).

Coach seating

• If you wish to reserve a seat on the coach in advance, after you pay please look at the seating plan in the photos here and then email me - general@cultureseekers.org, with the seat number/s you wish to reserve. Its first come first served.
• The seat you sit on when you board the coach is yours for the day. If you wish to change seats on the coach during the day, you will need to get permission from the individual who is seated there.

Cost
Cost is £26 per person for Full Members and £32 per person for everyone else.

After you RSVP:
You will need to make payment (its not automatic), so either:

- send a bank transfer: TSB Bank plc, sort code: 77-66-65, account no: 00030809, Account name: Cultureseekers

- go to PayPal - https://www.paypal.com/uk/, ‘send a payment’ to [general@cultureseekers.org](mailto:general@cultureseekers.org) and click on the ‘Goods & Services’ option and change it to ‘Friends & Family’, as this avoids a charge from PayPal.

You have 3 days to make a payment, if no payment is received within 3 days, your place will be offered to the first person on the waiting list.

Once you RSVP and then pay, I will confirm your place.

Food & drink
Its up to you whether you wish to bring your own food and drink or purchase items whilst we are there.

If you can't see us on Tothill Street, please text.

Please note, we only wait for 10 minutes after the advertised meeting time, so please be early or on time. The coach has to leave at a specific time.

Look out for the red and blue 'London Cultureseekers' group sign.
