You'll be working with real models in a large professional studio.
In this session we'll discuss studio lighting techniques and you'll work with a professional model.

In this session we'll discuss the properties of light:
• Colour
• Hard and soft lighting
• High and low key lighting
• Different types of light modifiers
You'll learn to use appropriate setting for studio work:
• Shutter Sync Speed, Aperture, ISO and White Balance
What you will need:
• Any camera with standard hot-shoe and manual functions.
• Any standard lens; 17-55, 24-70 or 70-200.
• A clean memory card and fully charged battery.
Basic information
It will be helpful if you have a basic understanding of how your camera works. You need to be able to: Change the ISO, white balance, shutter speed and the aperture. Have a look in your manual if you're unsure, and bring it with you if necessary and we'll help you if needed.
If you have an electronic viewfinder and silent shutter check your manual on how to switch off silent shutter and switch on manual shutter.
Directions
From Shepherd's Bush Market station: Exit the station and cross over. Take the 207 bus and exit at Acton Park. The studio is based directly in front of the bus stop. Look for the big chili graphics.
