Join me for relaxing Art Workshops at London parks and pubs!

THIS WEEK;
We'll gather outside Angel tube station, from 4pm to 4.15ish, then head up Upper Street, to Compton Terrace; latecomers, we'll be easy to find, the park is thin and long, not far from Highbury and Islington station 😊

Explore your creativity no matter what your skill ~ we'll take inspiration from our surroundings, each other, I'll provide tips, advice, and a few arty leaflets and postcards from my own collection 😊

Just £5 suggested donation, or whatever you can afford ; I provide all the Art materials, just bring your imagination 😊

Each week, the workshops will be at different locations, parks in warm weather, a pub in cold/rainy weather 😊

Generally they'll be in the late afternoon into the evening, occasionally from around lunch time 😊

We’re thrilled to invite you to a very special party, celebrating 40 years of creativity, community, and art with our friends at Collage Arts!

Housed in the much-loved Karamel venue (a cornerstone of London’s vegan scene for over a decade), this event promises good vibes and a live DJ to keep you dancing all night long. No speeches, no fuss — just a big, joyful party.

Collage Arts is the charity behind Karamel, and for the past 40 years they’ve been championing access to the arts for underrepresented communities through inclusive projects in music, film, visual and performing arts. They host a packed programme of events, including our regular London Vegan Mixer socials, Geekstraveganza board game meet-ups, and the Pooches & Popcorn dog-friendly movie night.

Come celebrate a legacy of creativity, compassion and community — and the vibrant future ahead.

The Rathayatra Procession 😊

Gather 11.15am to 11.30ish, outside Hyde Park Corner Station ( I'll be by the building with a clock at top )
Once we join the procession, it'll be hard to find us ; I may update when we get to Trafalgar Square and pick somewhere to meet anyone joining us there 😊

All welcome ~ bring plenty of water 😊

I've never been to this event before and thought it would be a nice different walk to do 😊

It starts at 12pm, reaches Trafalgar Square about 2pm ; we can enjoy more festivities or go for a walk down Thames 😊

They do offer free vegetarian food as part of the festivities, which includes vegan friendly options 😊

🎲 Geekstraveganza is an informal gathering to play board/card games while socialising and enjoying delicious vegan food! We will have a selection of our favourites, and you're welcome to bring any game you want to play.

🤓 Our regulars are always happy to teach rules to newcomers, and the hosts can introduce you to other attendees if you like. Everyone is welcome, no matter your level of “geekiness”: quick & easy games will be on offer as well as more complex ones. Feel free to join us at any time, since new games will start as people arrive.

🚉 The closest stations are Wood Green and Alexandra Palace.

➡️ Once inside the venue, head for the room behind the bar and you can't miss us (although we often use some tables in the main restaurant area as well). Look for the hosts if you want to be introduced to the group or would like a suggestion for which games to play.

🤤 The venue has a 100% vegan kitchen and bar. They're kindly hosting us for free, so please make sure to buy some of their delicious food and drinks to show your support. Don't miss Kath & Roger's legendary (and huge!) Sunday roast with all the trimmings.

♿️ The entrance to the venue is step-free and there is a wheelchair-accessible toilet.

🐶 The venue is dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friends if they'll enjoy it.
