Scissors, paper, glue sticks, pencils, and markers are available, but guests are encouraged to bring their own crafts and supplies. Bring your own Hotspot if you need to use the internet. Voluntary potluck. This monthly event is free of charge.

Sacral Chakra Reconnection

Have you ever felt your body is storing trauma? Often our bodies store trauma in our ***Sacral Chakra***. The sacral chakra is: responsible for our physical, emotional, and creative fulfillment. At this workshop, you will discover methods of releasing trauma through: - breath-work - sound healing - anointing oils - body movement There will also be space for open discussions. Please note, all gender expressions are welcome!

Off the HOOK Crochet Club and Crafts Too! is an inviting community for crochet enthusiasts and craft lovers alike. We meet the 1st Saturday of each month at various locations! Whether you're a seasoned crocheter or a curious beginner, this club offers a welcoming space to explore the art of crochet and a variety of other crafts. Members can enjoy learning new techniques, sharing patterns, and showcasing their completed projects in a supportive environment. The club also hosts workshops, craft fairs, and social gatherings, fostering a sense of camaraderie and creativity. TRADITIONAL BOW MAKING WORKSHOP

September 5, 10 a.m. In our class time, we will cover all the basics of making your own archery bow. You’ll learn how to select a piece of wood for making a bow. You’ll learn the basics of creating a long bow (aka self bow). You will learn how to determine the belly from the back, how to slowly reduce, how to tiller, make nocks, etc. Your goal will be to learn all the steps involved in making a functional bow. If you rush because you simply want to take a bow home, you might be disappointed. We will supply the staves for you to use, and we have extra tools. **If you have tools, such as sharp axe, draw knife, files, rasps, etc., bring them.** We do bring tools if you don’t have any. Location given upon registration. This class requires a bit more prep, and so please RSVP. Limited to 14 participants. $75. ($55 for seniors/ students).

Saturday Picnic

\- We are moving to Garfield Park\, Mission St side \- Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery, weaving, or any craft you’re working on, plus a blanket or a lawn chair. We’ll gather at Garfield park for a relaxed, picnic-style craft circle All crafts are welcome, from total beginners to longtime makers. There’s no agenda and no pressure! Just an open, friendly space for crafts and good company.

Rebel Sewing Group

A monthly meetup open to the public focusing on reducing overconsumption and waste by helping the community mend clothing, teaching generalized sewing, and offering guidance through your fabric based projects. A member of CRASH Space with sewing knowledge will be in attendance to help with small mending and alteration tasks or to facilitate your journey into the world of textiles.
