Support **Atheists United Los Angeles** at our second-ever community yard sale! Whether you’re looking to clear out your closet, find a hidden treasure, or volunteer for a good cause, we need your help to make this event a success. **TABLING OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE!** **Do you have a trade, art, business, charity you want to promote?** For the first time ever, we're opening this yard sale up to anyone who wants to table in our parking lot as well! Please review before donating. Itemized donation receipts will be available upon request. * **We WILL NOT Accept:** Large Furniture (Couches, beds, dressers), Large Tables, Oversized Art, Weapons of any kind, Heavily soiled or broken items * **We Want:** Books & Media, Clothes & Accessories, Kitchen Supplies & Small Appliances, Workout Equipment, Tools, Party Decor, Children's Toys & Games, Art & Home Decor, Folding Tables & Chairs, Plastic Bins & Office Supplies, etc. * **No Returns / No Consignment:** All donations to Atheists United are final. Anything not sold by Sunday afternoon will be donated to local thrift stores to ensure nothing goes to waste. #### **🤝 Get Involved** Not only do we need shoppers and donors, but we also need **volunteers**! I was initiated into Mrs. Takata-style Reiki by New York-based Reiki Master Pamela Miles. Reiki is a form of vibrational medicine - it comes through me as the practitioner, but I don’t direct it. It is deeply relaxing, very similar to a spa-like meditation experience. While you can expect me to hold your head, face and throat area at the beginning, I will hold my hands just above your body for all the other placements. For maximum relaxation you can lie on your back, but if you prefer, you can sit upright in a chair instead. **Teacher Bio:** Jacqueline Delibes is a HeartMath Certified Coach, artist, Reiki healer and healthcare writer for an academic medical center. THE SCHEDULE: 11 - 11:15AM: Arrival, chit-chat, purchase coffee, etc. 11:15-11:30 AM: Announcements + introductions 11:30-12:30 PM: WRITING (No talking, please.) 12:30-1:00 PM: Finish writing, chat about what you wrote, introduce latecomers, etc. Late to the party? **Class Description**: Open level class, combining several different disciplines. Including Hatha, Katonah, Vinyasa, as well as meditation and breathing practices. This class will leave you feeling energized, stronger and supported! **Teacher Bio**: I started learning more about yoga in 2016. I loved a space where I could move my body, but I was even more attracted to the mental component. Learning how to breathe through difficult poses or calm my mind when off balance was a transformative experience. To me, yoga is so much more than a physical practice! After years of being a student I decided to sign up for teacher training at my home studio, Love Yoga. Class Description: Vinyasa based class focused on breathwork, body alignment and asanas to boost our essential mind/body connection. This inclusive class allows you to calm the mind and focus on the strength of your breath and body, moving from an opening meditation and warm up, building into a flow and deeper into specific asanas completing with total relaxation. Great class for all levels from beginner to advanced. Teacher Bio: Kirstin H.S. completed her 200 hour YTT in Ubud,Bali with Zuna Yoga in 2019. She loves providing space to practitioners to take time for themselves and just simply breathe. Through “flow” yoga, Kirstin hopes to give a small reprieve to the anxious and stressful world we live in. Kirstin has been practicing yoga since 2004 and has learned the importance of yoga in cultivating balance, strength, and overall well-being. She loves sharing her knowledge and practice with others, especially those who are new to yoga. She is a registered yoga teacher (RYT 200) and Ayurvedic wellness educator. She received her yoga teacher training certification from the Yoga Vidya School based in India. Janet’s yoga classes offer a safe space for you to connect with your inner self, release stagnant energy from your body and breathe a little deeper. Janet began practicing yoga in 2003 and is grateful for her practice due to its physical and mental benefits, as well as the joy it brings to her life. **Class Description:** Whether you are new to yoga, familiar with the practice, or experienced, this yoga class will help you develop balance, strength and flexibility. In this class we will take our time to get into postures focusing on the basics. We will combine yoga postures and breathing exercises to strengthen the body, reduce tension and calm the mind. I love to enjoy life, and I am grateful for all the opportunities that have come up. and I like to challenge myself by trying new things. I did my 200-hour Intensive Teacher training this past summer 2025 at The Tree Yoga Cooperative. I’ve been practicing yoga for 2 years and 6 months, and I am so excited to continue my teaching journey at Heal One World. **Class Description:** This class is perfect for all people who are looking to relax and stretch the physical body, as well as relax the mind through meditation and breath work. Restorative Yoga uses props and long hold times to open the body in a passive way.
